Spring Beauty

Hannah Goodrich Spring Beauty

The past few weeks we have been so spoiled with gorgeous warm spring weather! We have been spending our afternoons with the kids in the backyard (when Veda isn’t melting down because of flies!) and enjoying every breath of fresh air. Yesterday however, it started raining and it has been chilly and dreary ever since. I decided to pull a few of my bright spring favorites out of my makeup bag to keep the spring feeling despite the weather! Do you need a spring beauty pick me up?? Read on to learn more about these beautiful bright and happy products!

Hair

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo

Oh my goodness, is this packaging not the cutest thing you have ever seen??? I am in love with the bright and springy colors, but let me tell you- the actual product is even more amazing. This is one of my most favorite dry shampoos right now. First of all, it smells AMAZING! Sometimes I even put it on my clean hair because it smells so good. My husband comments on how great my hair smells when I use it! Also, I do have brunette hair near my roots and I don’t notice powdery build up at all! It is such an amazing product! A definite must have!

Lipstick

There is nothing that can brighten up a dreary day quicker than a bright fun lipstick! Here are a few of my favorite spring shades!

MAC Girl About Town

MAC Girl About Town

This is one of my all time favorite bright fuchsia lipsticks! It has a ton of pigment so a little goes a long way. It also wears well throughout the day. I wear it often throughout the year, but it is definitely a springtime favorite!

MAC Morange LipstickMAC Morange Lipstick

MAC Morange

My cute grandma has worn orange lipstick for as long as I can remember, so I always have a soft spot for it! This is the perfect bright orange! It is gorgeous on it’s own, but also pairs well with other shades, like Girl About Town!!

MAC Candy Yum-Yum

Candy Yum-Yum is a bright neon pink that is perfect if you want to make a statement! My cute Veda is modeling it in this photo! I love wearing this lipstick when I have a more neutral makeup look because it gives the perfect pop!

Eyeshadow

MAC Steamy Eyeshadow

MAC Steamy

I used to love MAC’S Aquadisiac eyeshadow and when they discontinued it I was so sad! Luckily I found Steamy, and it is definitely one of my favorites! I sometimes forget how beautiful it is because I get stuck in my everyday neutral brown routine, but when I am wanting to change things up this is an amazing go to! It is described as a bluish green with gold pearl and is a frost finish.

MAC Satellite Dreams

MAC Satellite Dreams

This has been one of my favorites for years and years, in fact I think it was one of the first MAC eyeshadows that I ever owned! It is a beautiful vibrant purple, described as a plum with violet pearl. Like most MAC shadows, it is very pigmented so this little beauty will last more than one spring!

Blush

MAC Pink Swoon

MAC Pink Swoon

This blush is absolutely gorgeous! It is a soft candy pink and honestly looks beautiful on almost every skin tone. I find myself grabbing this blush out of my bag year round, and have used it on hundreds of brides and models! It is so pretty and I love that it is buildable. You can use it for just a hint of pink on your cheeks, or go for a more dramatic look!

Nails

UO Nail Polish Babe

Urban Outfitters Nail Polish in Babe

Unfortunately the nail polish that I photographed at the top of the page (UO Nail Polish in Crowded) is no longer available, but I did find this similar shade for you! I have several bottles of UO Nail Polish and I love it! It is super affordable and wears beautifully! You can’t beat that!!

I hope this list of my current spring favorites gives you some great ideas of bright and lovely things that you can add to your makeup bag! What are some of your favorite spring beauty products? Let me know in the comments below!!
