I am so excited to share this yummy and EASY recipe with you today!! I consider myself a bit of a Mexican food snob. My very first job was as a hostess (and eventually a server) at a Mexican restaurant when I was 16. I worked there through all of high school and eventually through a lot of my college career. Working there made me very picky about everything from the way my tacos are put together to the seasonings that are used in my carnitas (oh hi, best pork dish ever!). I also loathed when anyone ordered fajitas because 1) They smelled amazing and always made me hungry and 2) They were sizzling and smokey so consequently I smelled like a walking fajita. My mom always lovingly referred to it as the “fajita facial”. This could be why my dating career was sub par.
