If there is something I love more than chocolate, it is quality beauty products that I can conveniently buy from my drugstore (or Amazon!) for under $10. Talk about beauty on a budget!
I really do believe that in most cases you get what you pay for and there are many makeup products that are worth spending a little extra on. But if you are on a budget, these products are my tried and true favorite drugstore finds! We will be discussing more mid-range and high-end makeup products in the future, but I know that I am on a strict budget after the holidays and I am probably not the only one! If you can’t purchase your favorite high-end makeup product right now, don’t go without. Try one of these amazing finds! I have linked all of these products to Amazon to make your life easier, and because I love you..and Prime.
(If Amazon isn’t your thing, you can shop the products at the bottom of the post!)
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes– I love these! I am a HUGE proponent of washing your face every night. BUT, if you just can’t muster the energy to make it to the sink before you fall into a Snow White slumber.. these are for you! Also, they are awesome for those not so great makeup days where you just need to start over!
L’Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup– I am a huge foundation snob. I have had acne prone skin my whole life and I also have really unique coloring which can make it hard to find a perfect match. This is the only drug store foundation that I have liked! So because it has my stamp of approval, you should know it is good! And it comes in 33 shades!
Batiste Dry Shampoo– My sisters and I are very picky about dry shampoo. A lot of dry shampoos are either too powdery or they can leave your hair feeling sticky and weird. This is, without a doubt, one of our favs! They also have a formula specifically for you brunette babes that won’t leave that white powder in your hair! You can find the brunette formula HERE
Jergens Natural Glow Instant Sun Sunless Tanning Mousse– I have always been a little leery about self tanning. I think it is because I have seen it go so wrong and it would be just my luck to be walking around like a striped pumpkin. After having Jude (in all my post-baby glory) we decided to take a trip to Aruba. I was feeling horrible about myself but didn’t really have the time or the resources to go out and do anything about it. Then my little sister showed up like an angel from heaven on my doorstep with this glorious product and the rest is history. I use it all the time and absolutely LOVE it! It is so easy to apply! Though I do recommend buying a mitt… You can find the one I use HERE
essie Nail Polish– You just can’t go wrong with essie Nail Polish! Perfect formula, tons of colors to choose from, oh and under $10. I think yes! Also, this color (“Peach Side Babe”) has me craving spring!
L’Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara– Black mascara and I have a love/hate relationship. When I turned 12, my mom bought me blue mascara and I loved it. I loved it so much I wore it for over 16 years until it was discontinued (darn you Great Lash!). For some reason my body chemistry hates black mascara. I have tried millions of formulas on myself and I always end up with raccoon eyes within hours. Then I happened upon L’Oreal Paris Double Extend Beauty Tubes Mascara and my life was whole again! One end is a primer the other is the mascara so it’s like a 2 for 1! It holds up really great throughout the day and makes my lashes look really full. This mascara is super interesting to wash off (it will come off with soap and water)…the only way I can describe it is comparing it to when your teacher would let you play with rubber cement in grade school and you would put it all over your hands and rub/peel it off. If you never did that, well you missed out! It’s totally entertaining!
Medline Remedy Skin Repair Cream with Olivamine– You guys, this is the best lotion EVER! Seriously. It is soooo good. Medline is actually a medical manufacturer and I first got my hands on this stuff as a sample from the hospital. It is the perfect hand, foot, and whole body cream. I have never put it on my face because I tend to be a little oily, but I use it on my littles faces and it is awesome! In fact, this is the only lotion that healed Jude’s eczema. Thats right, healed. This stuff has unicorn tears or something in it, I’m telling you! Also, for all you mamas out there- they have a diaper rash cream that blows my mind. Like every diaper rash absolutely disappears in between changing! You can find the diaper rash cream HERE. I have only been able to find this on Amazon, and honestly it’s probably my favorite thing on this list! You need it!
Duo Lash Adhesive– This is the best eyelash glue out there! It is also medical grade, so it is safe for your little eyeballs. Of the thousands of clients and brides that I have worked with, there has never been an eyelash malfunction thanks to Duo! It doesn’t matter how amazing your false lashes are, if you don’t have an amazing adhesive you are doomed. Gloomy but true.
Ardell Wispies– These are my most favorite false lashes! They look so natural and I feel like they really open the eye. Just as a disclaimer, the link I provided is for a 5 (count them F-I-V-E) pack of lashes for $10.81 plus free shipping if you have Amazon Prime. If you only want one pair you can find them below, but I feel like one pair for $3.99 vs. 5 pair for $10.81 is a no-brainer! If the Wispies are too long, you could also try the Ardell Demi Wispies which are the fan favorite of all of my brides. They give fullness throughout and just add a bit of length to the outer corner of the lashes. The best part is if taken care of, one pair of lashes can be worn several times!
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream– I saved the best for last! It is very durable, creamy, and oh so matte! I love it!! I am loving the shades “Rome” and “Berlin” right now. You can also find it below for $5.99.
That rounds out my current top 10 Beauty Buys for Under $10! Do you use any of these products or do you love some that I haven’t mentioned? Share with us in the comments below! Let me know if you try anything from this list! I would love to know your thoughts!
